Conditions at refugee camp on Lesbos, Greece, ‘worse and worse by the day’

Earlier this year, Europe’s largest refugee camp went up in flames. At Moria camp on Lesbos island in Greece, asylum-seekers lived in overcrowded and filthy conditions for months — sometimes years. Since it was burned to the ground, the Greek government has moved more than 10,000 people to a new camp located on the island. The World’s Lydia Emmanouilidou in Greece reports on what’s happened since. This story contains references to suicide and self-harm.
