US President Joe Biden is offering pardons to thousands of people convicted of marijuana possession under federal law. Yesterday, he called on senior officials to review how the drug is categorized under federal law, and encouraged state officials to decriminalize it. In some ways, the US is unique in its approach to cannabis policy.
