China jails scientist over gene-editing babies

In 2018, Chinese scientist He Jiankui, also known as “JK,” announced that he altered the genes of babies. Today, he was sentenced to jail for it. Host Carol Hills speaks with Krishanu Saha, an associate professor of biomedical engineering at the University of Wisconsin.
