China censors news of Chloé Zhao’s historic Oscar win

The film “Nomadland” clinched Best Picture, but director Chloé Zhao’s victory was not reported in China. Instead, Beijing imposed a news blackout on Zhao’s award and erased references to her accomplishment on social media.
