China celebrates 100th anniversary of the Communist Party 

July 1 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party in China. And the epicenter for the celebrations in Shanghai, where Mao Zidong and 12 other men met in secrecy a century ago to lay the foundation for the party that would transform the country. The World’s Rebecca Kanthor reports from that city on the myriad festivities that are happening during this summer of celebration.
