France’s World Cup victory turned the country into party central. The win had special meaning for France’s immigrant communities, many of them living on the outskirts of big cities, like Paris. Seventeen of the 23 players on the French team were either immigrants or the children of immigrants. Rim-Sarah Alouane, a researcher at the University of Toulouse, has been celebrating the victory. Alouane speaks with host Marco Werman about all the partying going on around her.
