CDC says monkeypox risk is low but 200 US contacts are being traced 

Monkeypox is a rare, viral disease that’s been around for decades. Last month, a Texas man brought a case of it from Nigeria into the US. Now, 200 people in 27 US states are being tracked for possible infection. Dr. Agam Rao, an infectious disease specialist at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, assesses the risk for The World’s Marco Werman.
