Canadian hockey community helps Syrian refugees play on the ice 

Eleven-year-old Yamen Bai fled Syria with his family to escape the country’s civil war. They landed in the Canadian province of Newfoundland. Soon after settling in, Yamen started asking to join the local league. But he didn’t know how to skate, and he didn’t have any gear. So, the community stepped in to help. The World’s Bianca Hillier has the story.
