In Canada, like in the US, many health care workers on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic are immigrants. Some are also asylum-seekers, and thus working without knowing if they will be allowed to stay in the country. Reporter Emma Jacobs explains how Canada is now recognizing these workers and offering them permanent residency.
