After decades of service, British Airways announced today it will be retiring its entire Boeing 747 fleet. The so-called “jumbo jet” or “queen of the sky” is getting phased out, in part, due to the drop in international travel. To many people, especially aviation experts and enthusiasts, this represents the end of an era in aviation.
