Bossa nova for bad days

The World

There are a few styles of music that The World’s host Marco Werman turns to when he needs to decompress. Brazilian bossa nova is one go-to genre — and there’s a lot of great bossa nova to choose from. Here’s a new entry. His name is simply Sessa. Even the title of this song by Sessa is soothing: “Flor Do Real” or “Royal Flower.” Marco plays us the track.
