And a controversial deradicalization and rehabilitation program for former Boko Haram members who’ve voluntarily surrendered to the authorities is one strategy aimed at combating the insurgency. The BBC’s Is’haq Khalid gained rare access to the country’s sole deradicalization facility in Gombe State.
