Belarus forces down passenger plane and arrests dissident

Yesterday, a commercial flight from Athens to Vilnius, Lithuania was diverted to Minsk, Belarus. Several passengers, including Belarusian dissident Roman Protasevich, were detained by Belarusian authorities in an operation that was approved by Alexander Lukashenko, the man often referred to as “Europe’s last dictator.” Host Carol Hills speaks with Katia Glod, a Belarus analyst with the Center for European Policy Analysis.
