President Donald Trump often claims it’s too easy for undocumented immigrants to stay in the United States by seeking asylum. But fewer immigrants are receiving asylum since Trump took office — even in parts of the country where some immigration judges tend to be more willing to rule in favor of asylum seekers. WNYC’s Beth Fertig has the story from New York.
