As Biden talks with Bolsonaro to save the Amazon, environmentalists say ‘not so fast’

Biden administration officials have been meeting with members of the Bolsonaro government to work out a multibillion-dollar deal to curb rampant deforestation in the Amazon rainforests. But environmentalists in the country are urging the Biden administration to reconsider, saying that working with Bolsonaro is worse than no deal at all.
