Argentina’s new libertarian President Javier Milei enacted strict austerity measures in January in the hopes of bringing down high inflation. As a result, Argentines are paying higher prices while wages stagnate. Lautaro Grinspan reports from Buenos Aires that many are struggling to put food on the table, which has led to a rise in bartering, in person and online.
