Argentina votes to legalize abortion

Argentina’s Senate voted to legalize abortion up to 14 weeks of pregnancy. The historic move follows years of grassroots organizing in the predominantly Catholic country. Human rights organizations are marking it as a long-awaited victory, but religious groups in the homeland of Pope Francis are not celebrating today.
