Jean-Nicolas Armstrong Dangelser, the Sudan emergency coordinator for Doctors Without Borders (MSF), is in Port Sudan, and says the lack of travel permits is preventing aid workers from moving supplies. Meanwhile, Will Carter, Sudan country director for the Norwegian Refugee Council, who is in Sudan’s White Nile state, says the insecurity, despite a ceasefire agreement, is also making it difficult, if not impossible, to supply aid to residents.
