Africa readies to contain the spread of coronavirus

The World Health Organization has identified more than a dozen countries in Africa that are at high risk of being affected by the potential spread of the coronavirus. They’re vulnerable because they have direct flights to China, which has nearly 1 million of its citizens working in Africa along with thousands of students. Marco Werman speaks with Dr. John Nkengasong, director of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, known as the Africa CDC, based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, about what steps the continent is taking to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
