A young Latino voter’s postelection challenges

Their stories were included in our “Every 30 Seconds” project, based on the fact that about every 30 seconds, a Latino becomes eligible to vote in the US. In the last installment from Washington state, we hear from Michelle Aguilar Ramírez, an 18-year-old student who recently moved from Seattle to Spokane — a politically different part of the state that is challenging Ramirez. KUOW’s Esmy Jimenez has an update.
