In his first weeks in office, President Biden has signed a wide-ranging batch of executive orders on climate change. A notable theme is environmental justice. Historically, communities of color and impoverished areas have been most impacted by environmental problems. Biden’s focus on environmental justice in the US could also have impacts abroad. To discuss the international implications, host Carol Hills speaks to Chukwumerije Okereke, the former director of Center for Climate and Justice in the UK, and a visiting professor at Oxford.
