A sound solution for struggling coral reefs

Coral larvae appear to be seven times more likely to settle at a struggling reef when they were exposed to the recorded sound of a healthy coral reef. Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Steve Simpson, professor of marine biology at the University of Bristol in the UK, about the new research that deployed underwater loudspeakers at coral reefs in the US Virgin Islands in the Caribbean.
