 A tense week in Venezuela comes to a close, with no change in the country’s political standoff. A call from the opposition for Venezuelans and the armed forces to rise up against the government of President Nicolás Maduro appears to have failed. Host Carol Hills speaks with Gustavo Mendoza in Caracas. He was at the anti-government protests in Caracas earlier this week. He describes the week as a “rollercoaster of emotions.”
