The United States will challenge a UK judge’s ruling on Julian Assange’s extradition to America. Last month, in a story by Yahoo News, it was revealed that the CIA had previously made plans to kidnap or kill Assange. Former CIA Director Mike Pompeo called Wikileaks a “non-state hostile intelligence service,” which became the justification for the CIA to use a brand of internal law called “offensive counterintelligence” to plan operations against Assange. The US indictment against Assange already contains many legal arguments that concern press advocates.
