A Kenyan freedom fighter gets vaccinated 

As in other countries, Kenya’s elderly population has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority of COVID-19 deaths in the country have been people aged 60 years and above. As Kenya expands its vaccine rollout, some are still hesitant about taking the vaccine. One Mau Mau freedom fighter is trying to change that by sharing his story and getting the COVID-19 shot. The World’s Africa Correspondent Halima Gikandi reports from Nairobi.
