A jazz duo releases new album ‘SulaMadiana’ during pandemic

It was a tough year for everybody and musicians, in particular, had to tread carefully. After all, their time is usually spent on the road, playing to packed concert halls. Mino Cinélu and Nils Petter Molvær planned to tour this year to promote their new album “SulaMadiana.” But between lockdowns and Molvær getting COVID-19, those plans were nixed. Host Marco Werman speaks to French percussionist/multi-instrumentalist Mino Cinélu and Norwegian trumpet player Nils Petter Molvær.
