A first-time voter’s views evolve with BLM

The World

In the early days of the pandemic, we heard from 18-year-old Izcan Ordaz of Texas. He’s a first-time voter and part of our series, “Every 30 Seconds.” Ordaz was originally concerned about the economic impact of the pandemic. Now, his political views keep growing along with the Black Lives Matter movement. Reporter Stella Chávez from KERA in Dallas caught up with Ordaz and brings us the story.
