Two weeks ago, the former Soviet republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan ended a six-week war that has killed more than a hundred civilians and thousands of soldiers. The conflict was fought over lands in and around the contested territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, which has been under Armenian control since a previous war in the 1990s. Armenia was on the losing side this time. And, as part of a peace agreement mediated by Russia, the region of Kelbajar was today handed back to Azerbaijani forces. Reporter Andrew Connelly was there just before the handover.
