Last month, the country’s president unexpectedly postponed the election, throwing West Africa’s strongest democracy into uncertainty. After deadly public demonstrations, the election is back on track. The World’s Africa correspondent Halima Gikandi reports that Senegal’s president, who is not on the ballot, says he’s not to blame for the problems.
