What we lose when we lose the ice

Last month was the warmest February ever recorded. That has meant less ice in a lot of places, including on the Great Lakes, which has seen record low ice cover. It’s been a disappointing year for ice-fishing outfitters, ice skaters and those who rely on a hard winter freeze for ice roads to remote communities. The World’s Carolyn Beeler has the story.
