Celebrated Japanese manga creator, Akira Toriyama, has died at the age of 68 in Japan. Toriyama died March 1 of a blood clot in his brain, his production company Bird Studio said in a statement on Friday. He’s best known as the creator of the “Dragon Ball Z series,” which was adapted for television in the 1990s. Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Andrea Horbinski, author of an upcoming book called, “Manga’s global century: A history of Japanese Comics,” about Toriyama’s legacy.
