Sand dunes can help create an oasis and then bury it

In Morocco, a new study on star dunes has revealed when they were formed and other details not known before. The report focuses on one large dune called Lala Lallia. Star dunes are formed from multiple countervailing winds. The World’s Marco Werman talks with Charles Bristow, one of the scientists of the study about how dunes work.
