Through African foods, students dispel myths about their home countries

John Marshall High School in Rochester, Minnesota, is home to students from all over the world. But they don’t often have a chance to show off their heritage. So, African students recently brought in regionality specialties for lunch. Minnesota Public Radio’s Catharine Richert reports that the event was about food, but it was also a chance to address some of the myths students have about Africa.
