But the mechanism by which they vocalize has only just been researched. Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Magnus Wahlberg of the Southern University of Denmark. He is part of the research team that examined and manipulated the larynxes recovered from recently deceased baleen whales to determine how they produce their songs.
