A new metric for more forceful hurricanes

The most-serious hurricane is known as a Category 5. But two scientists have proposed the creation of a Category 6 designation, as climate change supercharges extreme weather events. Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Michael Wehner, a senior scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, about this new category, which he says might describe some recent deadly and destructive storms.
