Professional Women’s Hockey League in US and Canada seeks to grow the game globally

The inaugural season of the Professional Women’s Hockey League — or the PWHL — is underway, with six teams across Canada and the US. But Jayna Hefford, a five-time Olympic medalist in the sport and the league’s senior vice president of hockey operations, says the PWHL’s impact will also be felt outside of North America.
