‘Lilian’ freed in El Salvador 7 years after abortion prosecution

A Salvadoran woman known as “Lilian” has been freed from prison after she was convicted of crimes linked to an abortion. Michelle Oberman, an attorney and the author of “Her Body, Our Laws: On the Front Lines of the Abortion War from El Salvador to Oklahoma,” speaks with The World’s Marco Werman about how strict abortion bans cast miscarriage as a potential crime.
