A new Texas law allows state police to arrest migrants

On Monday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a law that allows Texas police to arrest migrants suspected of entering the state illegally. The law, known as SB-4, takes effect in March and creates a new state crime for illegal entry into Texas, with penalties ranging from 180 days in jail to 20 years in prison. Marco Werman speaks with Stella Chavez, an immigration reporter at KERA in Dallas, to find out more.
