UNESCO protects Italian opera singing

The UN’s cultural agency has acknowledged opera singing in Italy with “Intangible Cultural Heritage” status. It means opera in Italy will hereafter receive the cultural protection offered by the UNESCO mandate. Host Marco Werman explains.
