Aid agencies say that deliveries of basic humanitarian goods into Gaza are practically nonexistent. The United Nations is warning that starvation is an immediate possibility. Israel’s Cabinet approved a plan today to send two daily shipments of fuel into the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the Israeli military says its forces in northern Gaza have been battling Hamas militants, finding weapons in schools, homes and hospitals.
