The scale of Hurricane Otis’ damage to Acapulco is coming into focus

Hurricane Otis quickly went from a tropical storm to a Category 5 hurricane before it hit the Mexican coast with 165-mile-per-hour winds. The damage to Acapulco is becoming more evident from photographs and footage of neighborhoods and infrastructure. The World’s Carolyn Beeler talks with Eduardo Mendoza, Mexico director for Direct Relief, about the how deep the damage goes.
