Venezuelan opinion polls show veteran politician Maria Corina Machado is likely to win the opposition primary scheduled for Oct. 22. That would put her in a head-to-head race against President Nicolas Maduro in 2024. Machado has been compared to Margaret Thatcher for her support of privatization of the national oil company and her arguments for smaller government. She speaks with The World’s Carol Hills.
