The Unification Church — known as the Moon family “cult” to its detractors — is bracing for a Japanese government ruling that will dissolve the organization’s status as a lawful church. This move is fallout from the murder of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was killed last year by a man whose mother gave away her life savings to the church. The World’s Marco Werman speaks to correspondent Patrick Winn about the long-awaited move.
