Superstar NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury last night. Many quickly blamed the artificial turf that Rodgers was playing on when he was injured. Artificial turf is frequently blamed for causing injuries, with natural turf being more favored in some quarters. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with John Trey Rogers, professor of turf grass research at Michigan State University, about the advantages and disadvantages of artificial turf and natural grass and how far back the debate goes.
