A year ago, nearly a third of Pakistan was underwater after major flooding. The floods damaged roads, houses and public infrastructure. And more than 1500 people lost their lives. It was the worst natural disaster in the country’s history. The World’s Carolyn Beeler caught up with Syed Murtaza Ali Shah, a district commissioner of the Dadu District, to find out how the rehabilitation process has progressed a year later.
