Fukushima wastewater release concerns Japan’s fishing and tourism industries

Japan is set to begin releasing nuclear wastewater in the Pacific Ocean at the end of August. It’s part of a plan to decommission the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant after it was destroyed by the earthquake and tsunami in 2011. Thisanka Siripala reports from Soma, Japan, on how the wastewater release could impact local communities.
