In Ecuador, political violence is getting out of control

Fernando Villavicencio, a 59-year-old former journalist, was on the rise as a presidential candidate. On Wednesday night, he was shot and killed outside of a political rally in Ecuador’s capital, Quito. He was campaigning on a message against corruption, and promised to stand up to organized criminal gangs. The World’s Tibisay Zea reports.
