In Chile and Argentina, it’s the middle of winter, but these countries have actually been experiencing a heat wave. In one Chilean town, temperatures reached 99 degrees Fahrenheit. Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Raúl Cordero, who has been studying the changing climate in the southern hemisphere. He’s a Chilean climate scientist who is currently based at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands.
