Larry Bellorín is a Venezuelan multi-instrumentalist who fled his country and put music aside until he met Joe Troop, an Appalachian banjo player. The two started collaborating, and just this January, Larry quit his construction job so the pair could tour full time. Meklit Hadero profiles this unlikely music duo for the series “Movement” about music and migration.
