The stakes of vacant US ambassador posts abroad

Two and a half years in, many candidates for US ambassador to various countries remain open, in major part because they can’t get confirmed by Congress. The World’s Marco Werman talks with Ambassador Dennis Jett, who was an ambassador to Mozambique and Peru and now teaches International Affairs at Penn State, about the impact these vacant positions have on US diplomacy.
